Smedley Performance Horses
Talmage started learning about reining from Noel Skinner. He then moved on to apprentice with Todd Bergen and John Slack. He has now been training reining horses for over 15 years. He has won the Utah Classic Futurity in 2002 and the Utah Derby multiple times. In 2009 he was the NRHA Level 1 Open Derby Champion and the Reserve NRHA Level 2 Limited Open Champion.
Talmage also owns Jerry Lees Surprise who was the 1996 NRHA Derby Champion and 1996 NRHA Horse of the Year. Jerry has sired multiple Open and Non-Pro NRHA Champions. Contact Talmage for training, sales, and breeding.
